Overview:

Job Summary:
The Technical Sales and Support Specialist is responsible for nurturing the relationship between the organization and its client accounts. This role involves developing and sustaining connections with essential customer personnel across various functions.

Identify avenues for sales and profit enhancement while guiding leadership and internal processes to align company resources effectively, thereby creating value for the organization and its strategic partners.

Providing assistance with field support and project quotations is also a key aspect of this role.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role does not entail any supervisory duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to assess future needs
- Perform additional tasks as directed
- Apply basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Maintain a clean driving record over the past three years
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Undertake other responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ongoing training and education on product offerings
- In-depth knowledge of PLC and microprocessor technology
- Fundamental expertise in electrical and mechanical systems
- Foster strong customer relationships

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the sales of highly technical products

Independent Action:
Capability to operate autonomously.

Working Conditions:
This position necessitates extensive travel, approximately 90-95%.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle, at a desk, and utilizing a computer. It may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of energy frequently.

Additional Information:
A company vehicle will be provided, along with a company laptop and mobile phone.


Travel Area: The travel area is currently being determined and may vary from coast to coast.

The previous employee primarily covered the Great Lakes region but is still finalizing the travel area.


Travel Percentage:
90-95%

Expenses:
All travel, meal, and business-related expenses will be fully covered, with an annual budget to adhere to.
