Vyaire Medical is a global leader in respiratory care, and we're seeking a skilled Medical Device Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional support and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service, resolving issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with customers and internal stakeholders about service call status, ETA's, and resolution status.
  • Promote and sell service contracts, upgrades, parts, and billable labor revenue to meet established goals and guidelines.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our corporate and service department procedures and policies, including customer complaint handling and medical device reporting.
  • Accurately and timely document field activity, expenses, time distribution, and other required information.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Maintain proper and accurate inventory for service purposes, adhering to approved policies and procedures for inventory controls.
  • Stay up-to-date with Vyaire products and applications through continuous training and self-development.
  • Aspire to develop into a full-line representative as national opportunities arise.
  • Maintain company assets securely and in working order.
Requirements:
  • Credentialing: Secure and maintain required credentials for Vyaire Medical and its customers, which may include mandatory vaccinations and other tests.
  • Travel: Up to 90% of the time, with valid driver's license and clean driving history.
  • Location: Refer to active requisition.
  • Physical Demand: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without limitations or constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a technical field, including military experience in a technical field.
  • 1 year of basic electro-mechanical, electronic, or other troubleshooting experience.
  • Certification in information technology, respiratory therapy, or process improvement training is a plus.
  • Electronic or biomedical equipment repair experience, IT or network experience, and understanding of respiratory care and/or ventilation principles are desired.
