Nesco Resource is seeking dedicated Assembly Workers for a prominent client in the manufacturing sector.
Shift Details
1st shift operates from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various tasks including assembly, quality inspection, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Ensure work area is organized and compliant with safety and quality standards.
- Accurately document information related to quality and production processes.
- Utilize safety equipment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, supporting collective decisions.
Essential Skills
- Assemble metal components either partially or fully, working at a bench or on the production floor.
- Secure parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Perform minor adjustments using hand tools to ensure proper fit between components.
- Operate machinery in accordance with production standards.
- Conduct inspections of parts for quality assurance.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors, mopping areas around machines, and managing spills.
- Dispose of waste materials appropriately.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly use hands for handling and reaching.
- Frequent walking is required.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities needed include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
