Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a Traffic Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by controlling traffic in and around active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control traffic flow using hand signals and paddles to maintain a safe working environment
  • Prepare and set up traffic control devices, including flags, cones, and signs
  • Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreman or Supervisor as needed
  • Operate company vehicles safely and follow company driving policies
  • Comply with local, state, and federal Department of Transportation guidelines
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Work in various weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have authorization to work in the United States
  • Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Possess a valid State driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous flagging experience is preferred

Physical Abilities and Exposures

  • Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
  • Occasionally work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift heavier objects
