Job Description:

At PruittHealth, we are seeking a skilled Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing spiritual support and guidance to patients and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the spiritual needs of patients and families through direct communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Provide spiritual services and support based on individual needs, respecting diversity and cultural differences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that address spiritual well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and provide regular updates to supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pastoral care or a related field.
  • Ordination or certification from a recognized denomination or organization.
