Job Description

Automationtechies is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical controls, PLC and HMI programs, and machine safety and industrial network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, write, and test PLC and HMI programs following company standards.
  • Integrate machine safety and industrial network infrastructures into designs.
  • Conduct in-house and on-site testing of control components and systems.
  • Investigate equipment failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Computer Science or Computer Engineering degrees are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in HMI development.
  • Strong computer programming skills to include:
  • Java
  • Python
  • SQL
  • C#
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
