Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join our team. As a Clinical Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.
- Operate laboratory equipment in a high-quality, effective manner.
- Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and report/document results per organizational standards.
- Participate in patient testing, quality control, CAP surveys, policy and procedure development, and equipment maintenance.
- Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.
- Recognizes and acts immediately to correct errors in the performance of tests and procedures, reporting promptly to the immediate supervisor.
- Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure the accuracy of equipment to include QC and preventive and corrective maintenance and associated documentation.
- Participates in continuing and mandatory educational activities in a timely manner, meeting expected deadlines on own initiative.
