We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Med/Surg Inpatient Unit team at UnityPoint Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient care and consult with supervisory RNs as needed.
- Contribute to the admission assessment process by collecting and reporting data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in identifying and supporting a multidisciplinary approach to determine appropriate patient care interventions.
- Administer medications and perform tasks within the scope of practice.
- Communicate progress towards agreed-upon goals of care and update the plan and goals of care as needed.
- Completed an accredited LPN program.
- Previous CNA/PCT experience preferred.
- Possess current LPN licensure in the State of Iowa or compact state.
- Writes, reads, speaks, and comprehends fluent English.
