Position Overview:
Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is in search of a skilled Podiatrist to deliver comprehensive podiatric services. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing thorough assessments, executing diagnostic evaluations, formulating treatment strategies, and providing care to patients in alignment with the standards set forth by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower leg.
  • Address patient concerns by recommending corrective footwear, designing orthopedic casts, and creating custom footwear solutions.
  • Prescribe necessary medications and oversee rehabilitation therapies.
  • Request imaging studies and lab tests; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Develop and implement protocols for podiatric care tailored to the needs of residents.
  • Conduct consultations and evaluations, establish treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide guidance to clinical staff regarding the podiatric requirements of residents, including professional practices, procedures, and necessary supplies.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
  • Current and valid California state license.
  • Certification in CPR and BLS.
  • A minimum of one year of continuous experience within the last three years.

Work Environment:
The position is based in a residential care facility dedicated to elderly patients, with a focus on enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.
