Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessing students' speech-language development skills and providing individualized therapy to help them meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Therapy: Assess students' speech-language development skills, including receptive and expressive language skills, speech production skills, and social language skills development. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students meet their goals.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including evaluation reports, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Licensure and Certification: Hold a valid SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona and a valid AZ Department of Education SLP/SLT certification.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents, and strong organizational and time management skills.
