Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Truck Driver Jobs in America. As a local route delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods to our customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with dispatchers as needed.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1 year's prior commercial vehicle driving experience.
- Prior route delivery experience is preferred.
- Reefer/Trailer experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
