Agricultural Equipment Technician

**Job Title: Agricultural Equipment Technician****Job Description**This is a full-time position where you will primarily work as a mechanic during the off months, focusing on diesel work and agricultural equipment. You will operate heavy equipment during the busy seasons (Planting - Harvest). We offer competitive compensation for this role, estimated at $60,000 per year based on industry standards in Minnesota. Your responsibilities include performing custom application duties, applying crop nutrients and protection products safely and efficiently, ensuring equipment calibration, and maintaining required documentation. You will also assist with housekeeping and maintenance of facilities, roadways, and assigned vehicles/equipment.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Perform custom application duties including spraying, spreading, and NH3 application.+ Apply crop nutrients and protection products safely and efficiently.+ Ensure proper calibration of fertilizer and spraying equipment.+ Maintain required application reports, vehicle inspection reports, and other necessary documentation.+ Operate, service, and maintain all types of custom application equipment.+ Assist with daily operations at locations, including receiving, loading, and delivering products.+ Provide prompt and courteous customer service.+ Address customer complaints quickly and fairly according to company policies.**Requirements:**+ Mechanical aptitude, especially with diesel engines and agricultural equipment.+ Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.+ 2 years preferred experience in agriculture-related work.+ Heavy equipment operation experience.+ Proficient computer skills with ability to learn operational programs.+ Strong communication and organizational skills.**Why Work Here?**We value flexibility and adaptability in our team members, offering a dynamic work environment that supports growth and development.
