Healthcare Specialist for Cardiology Services

At the University of Florida Health, we are seeking a dedicated RN Specialist to join our team in a physician's office setting. This role requires specialized knowledge and skills to provide patient-centric care, with a focus on cardiology services.
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work as a patient advocate, providing support, counseling, and education to patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical nursing assessment skills, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for patient case management, performing specialized procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare providers and ancillary services. As a member of our team, you will direct clinical staff and maintain regulatory institutional policies and procedures under the direction of the Manager/Medical Director.
This role may require floating to other UFHP practices, as needed, for staffing purposes. If selected, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.
To succeed in this position, you must have a Graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, one year of specialty experience, or two years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience. Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse is mandatory, along with certification in your area of specialty. Proven multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
We also value outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, exceptional cognitive abilities, team focus, and problem-solving skills. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position do not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support certification required within the first month of employment.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and qualifications.
