Key Responsibilities:
As a Marine Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electronic systems for naval operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing technical knowledge to perform routine tasks, such as replacing components and wiring circuits.
- Conducting tests and taking readings with common instruments, including digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
- Installing and maintaining mobile electronic communication systems, including navigation and surveillance equipment.
- Participating in the transport and repair of watercraft, ensuring operational readiness.
- Collaborating with mechanics to address installation and repair challenges.
- Assisting in the replacement or fabrication of defective components as necessary.
