Key Responsibilities:

As a Marine Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electronic systems for naval operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing technical knowledge to perform routine tasks, such as replacing components and wiring circuits.
  • Conducting tests and taking readings with common instruments, including digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Installing and maintaining mobile electronic communication systems, including navigation and surveillance equipment.
  • Participating in the transport and repair of watercraft, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Collaborating with mechanics to address installation and repair challenges.
  • Assisting in the replacement or fabrication of defective components as necessary.
