Job Summary

Madison Area Technical College is seeking a pool of highly qualified candidates to teach part-time courses in the Political Science program. As a part-time instructor, you will be responsible for facilitating student learning, developing curriculum, and delivering instruction of high quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies and environments
  • Deliver instruction of high quality, assessing student learning and advising students
  • Participate in college service activities at the department, division, and college levels
  • Responsible for instruction in the Political Science program at the college level
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Political Science or a related area with 18 graduate credits in Political Science from an accredited public or private institution
  • Knowledge of current educational methods and strategies, including learner-centered instruction, assessment, evaluation, and collaborative techniques
  • Skill in the use of educational technology and alternative delivery methods
  • Knowledge and ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery
