Job Summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Service operations division in the Cape Cod region. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment in water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintain wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and basic electrical knowledge
  • Active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves
  • Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with mechanical repairs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including writing and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignments
  • Computer skills including a Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet
  • Valid Driver's License
