Logistics Coordinator

Armstrong is seeking a skilled Driver to oversee and lead our full-cycle transportation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate tractor trailers or straight trucks to receive, store, and distribute equipment and goods.
- Protect customer items and property using pads, tape, and other materials to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
- Ensure accurate listing of items and their condition on shipment inventories.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading, Statements of Accessorial Services, and Weight Tickets.
- Direct packers and helpers to safely accomplish loading and unloading within established productivity standards.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations, including DOT and OSHA requirements.
- Inspect materials received for order accuracy and quality.
- Communicate effectively with operations staff about customer concerns and inventory issues.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Prior moving and storage or furniture delivery experience a plus.
- Proven history of safe driving.
- Ability to pass company and DOT requirements, including roadside inspection reports, DOT medical screen, pre-qualification drug screen, and criminal background investigation.
This position requires excellent physical stamina and the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds. Sustained periods of lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling are also required.
