We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team at MobilexUSA. As a PRN Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for providing mobile ultrasound services to various healthcare facilities throughout our regions.
Key Responsibilities- Login to our self-dispatching system or call our dispatch department to receive information about your case load.
- Arrive at your first case at the start of your assigned shift or have left your house 30 minutes prior.
- Unload portable sonographic equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
- Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and digitally send them to radiologists for interpretation.
- Check voicemail from each client's facility upon completion of your assigned case(s) or every 30 minutes as necessary.
- Check for available cases via our self-dispatching system and/or check in with the dispatcher on duty every 30 minutes as necessary.
- Wear our company uniform, company-provided name tag, and follow our company dress code.
- Carry our company-provided phone on your person.
- Respond to all urgent communication within 15 minutes.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements.
- Valid driver's license at all times.
- Ability to perform basic smartphone operation and basic computer skills.
- Pleasant phone manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The standard medical laboratory environment is one in which potential health hazards do exist. Administrative, technical, and professional staff are expected to safely operate in accordance with applicable and appropriate health and safety policies and procedures.
Associates work in all weather and driving conditions.
Shift: Full Time Wed-Sat 7:30am-6:00pm
