Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Responder to join our team at Network For Life. As a Clinical Responder, you will play a critical role in providing on-site response to area hospitals, collaborating with Family Services, Hospital Development, Organ Recovery, and partner hospital clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to donor referrals received by Donation Support Services from hospital partners, conducting on-site follow-up within one hour, travel permitting.
  • Evaluate donor candidate eligibility based on applicable standards and regulations, considering past and current medical conditions, and lab results.
  • Monitor candidate status daily in collaboration with hospital staff, re-evaluating suitability for donation until authorization.
  • Transition suitable donors to the Family Services team to obtain authorization for donation, and assist in charting responsibilities of the organ recovery team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in a clinical field of expertise, or equivalent combination of certification and experience preferred.
  • Current Allied Health certification required (e.g., Medical or Nursing Assistant, PCA, Phlebotomy, ST, EMT, Technician, LPN, etc).
  • Two years of emergency or critical care experience in a healthcare setting or hospital preferred.
  • Effective knowledge of anatomy and clinical care principles, with ability to work night shift hours, 7p-7a.
