Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Prepare and measure radioactive isotopes for use in medical procedures.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License in California and Hawaii.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Venipuncture certification in California and Hawaii.
