Join Our Team as a Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Southland Industries. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing fire protection systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with a team of experienced design engineers to create fire protection systems.
  • Conceptualize and design fire protection systems for specific projects.
  • Represent the company as a design professional at project team meetings.
  • Implement LEAN design-build principles for our customers.
  • Create just-in-time designs and deliverables to support the estimating and sales process.
  • Visit project job sites and partner with the field for just-in-time feedback on compliance with construction documents and resolution of design issues during the construction phase.
