About the Role

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our Portland office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and documenting system designs for energy-efficient building solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria
  • Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research

Requirements:

  • BSAE or BSME required
  • 3+ years experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities
  • PE License or ability to become licensed
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred
