Job Summary

Nanotech Energy is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our organization's production operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process while monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of personnel and operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
  • Assist in the training and development of personnel.
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and send requests to order supplies as needed.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Analyze and report on operational performance metrics.
  • Quick and appropriate resolution of all challenges, discrepancies or miscommunications.
  • Understands and contributes to the EHS policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies and plans.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and results driven.
  • Ability to lead and motivate personnel to meet goals and objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a production environment with moderately loud environments from machinery and manufacturing processes. The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemicals and will be required to wear proper PPE. The employee should be able to sit or stand at and operate a workstation, walk/travel within the facilities for inspection activities, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
