Job Opportunity

American Lithium Energy Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Battery Scientist to support the company's production expansion and technology development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, materials science, or engineering, and hands-on experience in Li-ion battery industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects and processing studies through cell testing and targeted experiments
  • Design and implement scalable electrode coating/infiltration techniques
  • Build cells and conduct cell testing, focusing on rigor, repeatability, and statistical analyses
  • Identify limiting factors in cell performance through electrochemical and materials characterization
  • Effectively communicate procedures, results, and uncertainties in written documents and meetings
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and champion environmental health and safety
  • Design and validate new processes and devices
  • Write technical reports and proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

  • PhD in chemistry, materials science, or engineering, or related field
  • M.S. with 5+ years of experience in lithium-ion R&D and/or manufacturing
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously
  • Able to travel when necessary
