Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Description

Jobot is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at a growing plant. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to work independently, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, frying and baking equipment, sheeters, extruders, temperature instrumentation, burner systems and controls, packaging machines, electronic scales, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Repair various types of facility equipment, such as lift trucks, pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulic equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and implement preventive maintenance.
  • Complete installation and repair work from schematics and drawings.
  • Capable of minor electrical installations.
  • Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.

Requirements:

  • Able to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment quickly and independently.
  • Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.
