We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Texwipe, an ITW Company.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionThis role involves working on the 3rd shift from 11pm-7am, operating manufacturing machinery, making adjustments to optimize performance, performing routine maintenance, and loading raw materials into machines.
You will be responsible for running production processes, collaborating with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes, and adhering to all regulatory and company safety rules, procedures, and policies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and run manufacturing machinery based on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs).
- Make necessary machine adjustments to optimize performance and meet production specifications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to prevent machine downtime.
- Loading raw materials into machines and unloading finished products.
- Operating sealing equipment as needed.
- Weighing, documenting, and discarding scrap generated from equipment.
- Inputting and recording data into various operating systems.
- Maintaining production level to standard.
- FOLLOWING ALL QUALITY GUIDELINES IN THE PERFORMING OF JOB FUNCTION.
- Inspecting product and identifying defects and/or contamination.
- Training new associates in all aspects of the job when necessary.
- Working in other areas and departments as requested.
- Adherence to all regulatory and company safety rules, procedures, and policies; including PPE requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Must follow contamination-control cleaning guidelines.
- Collaborating with supervisors and other necessary team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 6-12 months of manufacturing experience and/or training is required.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to find, read, and locate documents as needed.
- Intermediate English comprehension skills with the ability to speak, read, and write in the language with minimal difficulty.
- Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read and use a ruler.
- MUST BE DETAIL-ORIENTATED, HIGHLY ACCURATE, AND DEPENDABLE.
- MUST BE ABLE TO ACCURATELY CONVEY INFORMATION ABOUT MACHINE PERFORMANCE, PRODUCTION PROGRESS, AND ANY OTHER ISSUES ENCOUNTERED.
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND AS PART OF A TEAM.
- ABILITY TO WORK EFFECTIVELY AND COMMUNICATE POSITIVELY WITH MANAGERS AND EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION.
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT THAT MAY REQUIRE OVERTIME AND/OR WEEKEND WORK.
- MUST BE ABLE TO DON APPROPRIATE GOWNING MATERIALS AND WEAR PPE AS DEFINED BY PLANT SAFETY PROCEDURES.
