Senior Tax Consultant

The Senior Tax Consultant plays a vital role within the tax division, focusing on nurturing client partnerships while ensuring the timely delivery of annual tax filings and monthly financial documentation.

• Preparation of payroll, tax, and business documentation and reports.
• Filing corporate and individual tax returns.
• Developing new client relationships and enhancing existing ones by demonstrating a solid understanding of their business operations.
• Engaging with clients as needed; offering insights to support their financial or tax-related requirements.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position within a public accounting environment.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• CPA certification is highly desirable or the capability to obtain it.

At MBE CPAs, you will face the rewarding challenge of meeting deadlines during peak tax periods, which may require 50-60 hour work weeks. During the off-peak season, you can expect a more flexible schedule of 30-40 hours per week, allowing for personal interests and family commitments.
