We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northwest Respiratory Services LLC.
About the JobAs a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and providing instruction on home medical equipment to patients in their homes and skilled nursing facilities. You will also provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction on proper use, safety, cleaning, and continuing education to clients.
Responsibilities- Deliver, set up, and provide instruction on home medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction, and pediatric set-ups.
- Provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction on proper use, safety, cleaning, and continuing education to clients.
- Schedule and conduct staff in-services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested.
- Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients, and NRS staff; assist with troubleshooting of equipment.
- Current RT/RN License in the state of Branch location and in other state(s) as required based on territory served.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Home care experience is preferred.
