The Arboriculture Team Leader supervises a skilled group of tree care professionals, overseeing their daily operations, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring that all maintenance and evaluation services are performed safely and effectively. This essential position, reporting to one of our operational hubs, ensures the seamless functioning and outstanding performance of the teams involved in tree care. 50% overnight travel is a requirement. Educational Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. Desired Qualifications Certification as an Arborist or Tree Care Safety Professional (TCSP) is highly regarded. Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or a similar field is advantageous. Additional Requirements A valid driver's license is essential. Skills and Competencies Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for inspiring and guiding the team effectively. Comprehensive understanding of appropriate tree care practices and safety standards. In-depth knowledge of various tree species, diseases, and pruning methods. Familiarity with tree care tools such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Capability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions. Confidence and skill in performing tasks at heights, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of tree care operations.
