Job Description

The Team Leader I position supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Knox, KY. This position primarily supports DRTS Ranges. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the schedule and day-to-day work performance of a specific work team supporting Live Fire rotations. Additionally, they will ensure the DMPRC is prepared and correctly established/checked for each rotation. The Team Leader will also schedule work team employees and assign daily job duties, ensuring accurate, timely and complete entries into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS). Furthermore, they will conduct daily analysis of employee performance of work orders and status of repair parts requisitions using the AWARE MIS. The Team Leader will supervise and enforce safety requirements and standards, and quality requirements and standards. They will also supervise performance of work team employees, exercising appropriate administrative supervision over work team employees including time reporting, training, safety, disciplinary action following guidance from corporate staff and the Site Manager, and similar personnel actions. The Team Leader will support quality / ISO, security and safety training programs. They will safeguard all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage. The Team Leader will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working DMPRC/DMPTR ranges preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to manage employees and work schedules.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task multiple missions.
  • Must coordinate with Government range manager to set schedules at least 15 days out.
  • Must be able to QA/QC player unit installs, target maintenance, tower network system, downrange network system, and all wireless networks.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 lbs and carry at least 100ft.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
  • Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
  • Must be able to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
