Seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist Physician to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, mammograms, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Manage a daily caseload with a mix of stat and routine studies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide insights into diagnostic findings and contribute to patient care decisions.
  • Maintain compliance with established protocols and quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences as needed.

Volume and Modality Split:

  • Diagnostic Volume (DX):
    • Stat & Routine Studies: Approximately 314 studies per day.
    • Late Week (LW): Approximately 413 studies per day.
    • Weekends & Holidays (RH): 147 studies per day.
  • Mammography Volume:
    • Approximately 20 studies per day.
  • Modality Split:
    • XR (X-ray): 46%.
    • CT (Computed Tomography): 34%.
    • Mammo (Mammography): 2%.
    • MR (Magnetic Resonance): 4%.
    • US (Ultrasound): 11%.
    • Other: 2%.

Performance Metrics:

  • Average # of cases/RVUs: 8-10 RVUs per hour, 90-100 studies per shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Florida Medical License.
  • Active DEA Certification.
  • Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Minimum of 3-5 shifts per month.
