Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology
  • Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations
  • Assume responsibility for designated area and provide clinical instruction as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers
  • Utilize ALARA standards for minimizing radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
  • Training gained at student level
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
