Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with cancer and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted interventions
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient situations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in oncology to provide evidence-based care
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience in oncology or a related field
  • Graduate of a NLNAC or CCNE-accredited School of Nursing and licensed in the state of practice
  • OCN Certification within 18 months of hire or completion of 36 total CE in Oncology every three years
  • BLS certification and a BSN degree or enrollment in a BSN program within six months of hire
