As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to our orthodontists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Provide chairside assistance to our orthodontists, utilizing your knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Take intra and extra oral photographs, as well as impressions for various orthodontic appliances.
  • Perform laboratory work, including preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms and instruments.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and patient education, ensuring patients understand their treatment plans and care requirements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage orthodontic supply inventory and perform other related job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Certified Orthodontic Assistant (C.O.A.) preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Possess required certifications, licensure, or registration as required by state.
  • Embody a positive team approach to patient care.
