The Opportunity

The Spartanics Operator uses the Spartanics Punch Machine to punch tooling holes in PCBs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviews Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and the Traveler to ensure compliance with specifications; verifies that prior process was properly completed and that quantities match; scans job into PROCIM.
  • Operates the Spartanics Punch Machine, including starting and stopping.
  • Reviews the Process Analysis Log and signs off before starting shift; verifies registration by punching holes in Mylar film with locator pads; ensures that pad is fully punched out and centered for a new part number; adjusts centering if necessary.
  • Punches several holes in First Article panels for each material type and uses a microscope to inspect the punched holes for defects; once completed, performs punching process for remaining jobs.
  • Signs off on the Traveler, logs out in ProCIM, and moves finished parts to the next scheduled process.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as travelers, SOPs, instructions, and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing.
About the Role

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required. The potential shifts available are 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm-12:30 am.
