Residential Supervisor

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our Isaiah's House Bridge Shelter program, you will provide direct supervision to 30 single adult men, promoting independent living skills and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct facility rounds to ensure safety and security, enforcing program rules and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and performing administrative tasks.
- Supervise residents individually or in group activities, including meals, chores, and community room hours.
- Complete required paperwork, including incident reports, non-compliance notifications, and rounds/shift reports.
- Transport and/or accompany residents to off-site activities, such as medical appointments and educational events.
- Facilitate group activities and participate in ongoing trainings relevant to supportive services.
- Provide crisis intervention and kitchen support as needed.
This role requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. You must also be able to operate a computer, fax, and telephone, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education or experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
- Must be TB cleared and provide documentation annually.
- Maintain valid CPR/First Aid and Food Handler Certification.
- Must have a Class C Driver License and a clean MVR.
- Ability to carry out assignments independently and maintain good rapport with colleagues, clients, and the public.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with individuals experiencing housing instability.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself professionally at all times.
