We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk - Filing Specialist to join our team at Nexus Staff Inc. in Centereach, NY. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience in filing and records management.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work on one's feet for extended periods. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing a large volume of incoming paper documents, maintaining an orderly filing system, and cataloging files for warehousing purposes.
Responsibilities:
* File and organize a large volume of incoming paper documents
* Alphabetize and maintain an orderly filing system
* Answer the main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate party
* Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical phone operation and professional telephone etiquette
* Catalog and manage the file system for warehousing purposes
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or Technical Degree/Certificate Program preferred
* 1-2 years of relevant experience in filing and records management
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work on one's feet for extended periods
* Professional communication and telephone skills
What We Offer:
* Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
* Weekly payments via ACH (Automated Clearing House)
