Job Description

Job Title: Project Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our team at North Wind Group. As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting project managers and managing project schedules and costs to provide a forward-looking analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in effectively and proactively managing projects to ensure project success.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and execute complex project performance baselines.
  • Prepare project estimates while performing cost analysis to determine the health of the project.
  • Identify impacts and assist with the development of recovery plan activities.
  • Support project organizational and administrative activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in management, finance, or related area of discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of project controls experience on engineering, environmental, and construction projects.
  • Familiar with Project Controls EVMS processes and project management software such as Primavera P6, COBRA, and Deltek Cost Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management, staff, and client.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Project Controls Engineer.
  • EcoSys experience preferred.
  • Financial background preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is a sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting for long periods of time, but will also be required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
