About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Gould Farm's Roadside Store & Cafe. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks
  • Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware by hand or in dishwashers
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, including knowing how to use cleaning agents properly and maintain the correct water temperatures
  • Place and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in assigned areas
  • Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils
  • Clean trash receptacles, floors, and other areas
  • Empty trash containers, bus tables, and assist with basic food prep tasks when needed
Qualifications

  • Food service/restaurant experience in a fast-paced establishment
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as a team member
  • The ability to assist with the integration of community feedback into continuous improvement

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position working Wednesday to Saturday, approximately 8am to 3pm.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position starts at $18 per hour.
