Job Description

At FPI Management, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Community Director to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting the Community Director in the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and that our properties meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with our clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, vendors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Employee Management: Supervise and train on-site staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, exhibit professional leasing techniques, and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Revenue Management: Assist in maximizing revenue potential, managing lease expirations, and ensuring timely rent collections.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with FPI's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures, reporting any incidents or concerns to the Community Director.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance requests, document facility needs, and ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, and property management software.
