Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the design and development of residential, commercial, and resort subdivisions.

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, from conceptual design to completion, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data such as maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs, and provide advice on resolving any emerging problems.
• Oversee and mentor staff, liaise with a variety of stakeholders, and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and purchase equipment/materials as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Hawaii or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in residential, commercial, and resort subdivisions.
• Proven working experience in civil engineering with a focus on subdivision design.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Strong project management and supervision skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Salary Range: $90,000 per year depending on experience
