Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil or related field
  • Five to 10 years of work experience in traffic or transportation engineering, operations, or analysis
  • Professional Traffic Operation Engineer certification is a plus
  • Professional Engineering license is a plus
  • Proficient in GIS tools for technical analyses
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Essential Job Functions:
  • Create or assist in the creation of plans for roads and public transportation systems
  • Analyze traffic flow, patterns, and congestion using specialized software and data collection techniques
  • Work with government agencies, planners, architects, and construction companies to coordinate transportation projects
  • Ensure transportation projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
  • Manage transportation projects from conception to completion
