This position embodies the organization's commitment to providing quality living environments and enhancing the overall well-being of residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gain a thorough understanding of the needs of residents and the onsite property management team to inform the development of relevant programs and initiatives.
- Create strategies to connect residents with essential services and assist them in overcoming barriers to access.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with organizations and individuals that can deliver on-site services to residents.
- Engage in the creation of pilot programs to explore innovative service models.
- Support the planning and execution of designated programming at assigned properties.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors regarding resident-related matters at specified properties.
- Conduct research to identify best practices that can be incorporated into this organization-wide initiative.
- Monitor program participation metrics in real-time.
- Lead training sessions and provide guidance to both internal and external teams on resident needs and available services to promote improved outcomes, assessing the effectiveness of educational programs.
- Investigate alternative educational programs based on resident feedback.
- Develop and manage program budgets effectively.
- Participate in relevant local, regional, state, and national organizations as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Services or Education is preferred but not mandatory. Two years of experience in supportive services, or a Bachelor's degree combined with one year of experience in supportive services is acceptable.
- Outstanding organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Efficient utilization of resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to visit multiple properties in a single day.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Suite.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Capacity to complete tasks, identify needs, and seek assistance when necessary.
- Basic mediation skills, including active listening, seeking common ground, and recognizing differences.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, a positive driving record, and reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to navigate stairs.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
