Pharmacy IV Compounding Specialist

Pentec Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy IV Compounding Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, preparation, and distribution of intravenous admixtures and prefilled syringes.

• Clean and maintain the sterile compounded medication area in accordance with USP 797 Guidelines
• Stock the sterile compounded medication room with intravenous solutions, additives, and all other supplies utilized in the sterile compounded medication service
• Reconstitute bulk additives and prepare sterile compounded medication utilizing proper aseptic techniques
• Check the sterile compounded medication for clarity and no presence of particulate matter
• Perform other job duties and special projects as assigned

• Able to stand for up to 8 hours or more per day

• Understanding of medical terminology and calculations

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

The estimated hourly pay for this role is $21 an hour. Pentec Health offers a comprehensive compensation and full benefits package. Actual pay will be based on several factors such as qualifications and skills for the role plus geographic location.
