Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Tenet-Alabama is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Talladega, Alabama.

Job Summary:

This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients on a per shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, and maintaining competency of clinical staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan patient care, implementing and evaluating interventions as needed.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration and vital signs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Med-Surg experience preferred.
