Case Manager Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager Assistant to provide wraparound social work services and case management to individuals in need of benefits and entitlements in the community. This is a 4-hour shift, Monday to Friday position.
About YouYou will provide assistance with case management in a social services environment, fluently communicating with Russian and Spanish speaking individuals. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to effectively assess client needs and provide guidance on available services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments for all individuals who contact the social services department, including those in need of food pantry and workforce services.
- Assist individuals with applying for qualifying benefits and provide education on available services.
- Screen pantry clients for further needs and provide guidance on accessing resources.
- Work closely with JCC off-site programs to provide information on available services and benefits.
- Make internal referrals to other JCC programs, including GED, ESL, Career Connections, and CHIPS.
- Ensure compliance with funders' protocols and maintain accurate records of all efforts.
- Represent the Center in all forums and report to the Teacher, Director, or Supervising Teacher as needed.
- At least 2 years' experience working in the social services field.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and computer.
- Training in interviewing skills, client assessment, determining eligibility, community resources, and information/referral process.
