Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to provide home-based speech therapy services as part of our expanding footprint at Centers Plan for Healthy Living.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits to assess and treat patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Evaluate patients' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to meet established treatment goals, including assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.
  • Evaluate patients' progress and modify treatment programs as needed.
  • Document patient progress, goals, and attendance in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Select and use appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or a foreign degree equivalent as accepted by US Citizenship and Immigration Services or a Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent plus 2 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
  • Valid New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse individuals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • New graduates welcome.
  • Able to function independently, with minimum supervision.
  • Current Driver's License, required insurance and car available for work.
