ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations. Your duties will include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspecting and adjusting room amenities such as climate control, lighting, and alarm clocks.
  • Performing various cleaning tasks, including emptying trash, ensuring all equipment is functional, and adjusting curtains.
  • Restocking essential supplies like toiletries and stationery.
  • Handling soiled linens and ensuring proper laundry procedures are followed.
  • Making beds according to established standards and preparing rollaway beds as needed.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, including mirrors, shower walls, and bathroom fixtures.
  • Vacuuming carpets and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
  • Ensuring all guest items are accounted for and reporting lost and found items.
  • Completing room checks at the end of your shift and communicating any discrepancies to management.
  • Returning cleaning carts to designated areas and restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Participating in special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
  • Attending training sessions and adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The role may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including noise and fumes. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting and engage with a diverse team.
