Job Description

Job Title: Therapeutic Activities Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Therapeutic Activities Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the therapeutic activities program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to residents, and promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct therapeutic activities programs for residents in individual or group settings.
  • Coordinate with departments and delegate tasks to staff as needed.
  • Arrange and attend outdoor trips, sporting, theatrical, or other community events, and a variety of outside activities for residents.
  • Oversee the interviewing and assessment of residents to determine their interests and evaluate their abilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and activities.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Therapeutic Activities Worker or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
