Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at P&C Recruiting and HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for maintenance activities in support of the maintenance and production goals for the mine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement accurate resource levelled schedules for all maintenance activities.
  • Manage and update, as required, the mobile fleet overhaul schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain the maintenance activity and report both Leading and Lagging Maintenance KPIs and cost KPIs.
  • Manage minor capital projects related to mobile maintenance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain currency of effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance procedures.
  • Work with warehouse personnel on warranty issues and core recovery.
  • Monitor the suitability of the parts inventory.
  • Execute strategies for improving maintenance performance, including training, PM development, and the maintenance and development of computer-based maintenance management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a maintenance planning role.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance.
  • Experience in an underground mining environment preferred.
  • Prior experience setting up, using, and maintaining computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) required. Experience with IFS preferred.
  • Good understanding of underground mobile equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
